The magic returns with activities around Frisco. The Christmas in the square special event night is Saturday December 19th from 5 PM – 10 PM. There will be a trackless train ride for all to enjoy. You will want to keep an eye on the sky for Santa to parachute down then enjoy a nice visit with him. Get your tube ready and slide down the snow slide or take a loop around the real outdoor skating rink. Bundle up with a blanket and a warm thermos of hot coco while being pulled by a horse drawn carriage through the winter wonderland. Also, Cinemark is right down the road if you are in the mood for a good film.shutterstock_229612093 1

Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth is from 6 PM – 10 PM. It takes two miles to drive through to see more than 200 lighted displays of over 2 million LED lights. You will be led into Santa’s Village where the big guy awaits you. Admission is $25.

There is some friendly competition between neighbors at Deerfield in Plano. Residents compete for different categories of home displays. You may drive through or take a carriage ride to see all the wonderful displays and take a vote. The winners are announced after New Year’s.
